Travis Nabahe

Travis Nabahe is an enrolled member of the Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone Tribe in California. His 25-year business and professional career has been in product, business, economic development, and tribal community development both in the tribal and private sector as CEO, General Manager, and Executive Director for 7 Tribes throughout the United States. Furthermore, he worked as a Financial Analyst for Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies prior to working for Indian Country. Travis received both an MBA and JD from the University of Arizona in 1999.  

In 2019, he formed Nabahe Global Group to enhance Indigenous people, communities, and villages in the Americas as well as worldwide. Travis leads the work towards the vision that our communities are interconnected, and when we can bring more wellbeing, equality, and strength to one, it helps our global endeavors for a thriving future for generations to come.

Recently in 2023, Travis returned to his homelands of Newe Sogobia (“People’s Lands”) / Payahuunadü (“Land of Flowing Water”), to enjoy the Newe and Nuumu way of life where he had the opportunity to live with his grandparents during his early elementary school years. Blessed to have the mentorship, teachings, and love of his grandparents, mom, and family, Travis enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, and living the old ways, such as playing “handgame” which is a traditional, social form of tribal gambling.
