Scholarship Request

Scholarships are need-based and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Submitting a request does not guarantee funding. We will contact you to confirm whether your scholarship request has been approved.

Children’s Program Registration

This year we will be offering culturally rooted Children’s programming - both to build intergenerational knowledge sharing and to allow parents of children to be able to fully engage in the Summit to their full liking.

Note - While children’s programming is available, we always welcome parents with young ones who wish to have them in the summit meeting space with them to do so. This is a familial space.

Meals and Dietary Restrictions

Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day. Dinner will be served on the evening of October 19, and appetizers will be provided during the reception on the evening of October 18.

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or accommodations you may need, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

Please note: Unless you are a speaker, Nation Builder, or scholarship recipient, you are responsible for arranging and paying for your own lodging.

A limited number of rooms are available at a discounted group rate for attendees. We encourage you to book early while space remains.

Book using the discounted room block

You may also book by phone and provide the group code GSNT108. 1833373473

Additional lodging and travel information is available on our Logistics page.

Resilient California Summit

The Resilient California Summit will take place October 20–22, 2026, in Sacramento at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center. The statewide gathering will bring together Tribal communities, community organizations, government agencies, nonprofits, researchers, and other partners to share knowledge, strengthen partnerships, and advance climate resilience across California. Indigenous Futures Society is one of the Summit’s organizing partners.

Scholarships of up to $2,500 are available based on need and travel distance to help cover registration, lodging, and transportation. Applications should be submitted by August 21, 2026 for full consideration. Applicants who meet the deadline are expected to hear back by August 31. Tribal community member scholarship applications are reviewed by Indigenous Futures Society.
