NEVADA CITY, 9 April 2009 — The Sierra Fund is now collecting projects for our annual issue of Sierra Nevada Conservation Project Profiles. 

Check out 2008’s Conservation Project Profiles online for examples!

If you have a project to include, please send the following information to Kerry Morse at [email protected]  no later than May 15!

  • Estimated project cost
  • Project sponsor and other partners
  • Contact information
  • Attractive photo (or 2)
  • General map of project location
  • Short (max. 450 words) project description
  • Sierra Nevada Conservancy region (North, North Central, Central, South Central, East, South)

This full-color document highlights the need for conservation dollars in all regions of the Sierra Nevada.  Included projects are “ready-to-go” and just need funding.  The document is distributed to all legislative offices in the state capitol as part of our Sierra Day in the Capitol, June 24, 2009.
