Haiwee Fredericks

Manahuu (Greetings)! My name is Haiwee Fredericks, I’m Nüümü, Newe, & Wá∙šiw (Paiute, Shoshone & Washoe). I have grown up in Payahuunadü, the place where water flows, located along the beautiful Eastern Sierra Mountains. I’m an undergraduate student double majoring in Sustainable Agriculture & Food Systems along with Native American Studies at the University of California, Davis. I'm an active community member in Payahuunadü and in the realm of Indigenous food systems.
