You’re invited to attend the May 30 Public Meeting on Brownfields Assessment in Grass Valley!

The City of Grass Valley has obtained federal funding to investigate mine-scarred properties and other underutilized properties for the presence of contaminants to help clean up and revitalize these properties.

The City is hosting a free informational meeting that he community is encouraged to attend to learn about the grant, ask questions, and offer input on the properties that will be selected for assessment.

US EPA grants like this one are good for our community! They provide funding to assess properties and plan for cleanup (if needed) for redevelopment. They support smart development planning, reduce exposure risks, and provide redevelopment opportunities that boost the local economy and create jobs.
