The Sierra Fund is thrilled to be a recipient of one of the 15 grants awarded by the Sierra Nevada Conservancy last week under their Proposition 1 grant program, the latest round of which emphasizes forest health in the Sierra Nevada. The goal of our project, in partnership with the Tahoe National Forest, is to develop strategies for integrating hydraulic mine remediation into holistic forest health restoration.
