Coleen Shade
Coleen Shade is a Principal of Environmental Planning at Stantec Inc, a provider of engineering consulting services, with an office based out of Nevada City. At Stantec she specializes in comprehensive & integrated land use, community, resiliency and environmental (CEQA/NEPA) planning, public engagement and facilitation, and business development. She brings to the board both natural resources knowledge and expertise from a planning career spanning more than 30 years with both public and private clients.

Nils Moe
Nils Moe is currently the Lead of The Climate Pledge at Global Optimism, where he oversees a cross-sector global community of more than 450 companies and organizations (representing $4 trillion in annual revenue), working together to crack the climate crisis and solve the challenges of decarbonizing our economy. Nils is an experienced and accomplished change agent with over 15 years of successful environmental policy implementation and strategic business development and brings considerable expertise to The Sierra Fund’s board around climate policy and network building.
